Sam Gordon
Welcome to my website!
This website is intended to show you a little bit about myself and the achievements I have made so far.
About Me
My name is Sam Gordon and I am from Los Angeles California. I am a finance major with aspirations to work in real estate, wealth management, or as a financial analyst.
In my past two years at the University of Arizona, I have tried to stay involved as much as possible. I have participated in Eller clubs like Premier and Spark. I also have been a member of the investing, financial modeling, and sales club. As a side project, I am currently learning more about currency trading on forex.
I enjoy living a healthy, fit, and active lifestyle. I am a big outdoors person. I love hiking and exploring the desert wilderness of Tucson.

A Rule to Live By
The 1% Rule encourages people to focus on getting 1% better each day. I came across this rule as I was reading a book named "The Atomic Habit" by James Clear. The reason I like this rule is that it can be applied to various areas of your life, such as personal development, health, work, and education. The idea is that small daily improvements, when consistently applied, your growth is exponential. Your habits accumulate over time to produce substantial results in the long run. I believe the 1% Rule is more sustainable than trying to make massive changes all at once because they can often lead to burnout, resistance, and frustration. This rule is about creating manageable habits that you can maintain throughout your entire life.

Future Aspirations
As I am currently studying finance, I have future aspirations to work in the fields of commercial real estate, wealth management, and corporate finance. It is in these industries where i am seeking internships, and the opportunity to gain real world experience and mentorship. I have many interests and I am looking to try new things in order to grow, learn, and find my dream job.
